Board Certification In Unique Education (B.C.S.E.)
This is an advanced teacher certification program for those who currently have general education teacher certification or CEAS in Content Area who want to get special education certification (Teacher of Students with Disabilities) and a master’s degree. The only constructive notes I can make are: 1) I was capable to teach complete-time although earning my credential, and 2) The Alameda campus and instructors were FAR improved than these at Pittsburg Adult Education Center, so there were some educators who cared enough to pass on good teaching solutions to future teachers.
Students who enter this program with secondary teacher certification or with teacher certification in an region other than elementary education will be necessary to complete more coursework in teaching solutions, youngster improvement, and any other area of deficiency noted by graduate program faculty.
